Attaching the roots of a Java fern to a piece of wood is the best option to plant in an aquarium.  The first step to gluing Java fern plants to wood is to start by washing the roots of the plant. We’re trying to make sure that the glue sticks to the roots and rhizome of the plant. You can gently clean them under your Fossett. Just be careful not to damage the roots. Step number two would be to get a Q-tip and insert it into your gel, superglue and lightly dab some of that superglue onto the driftwood. Where are you desire to place your plant. You can then gently hold the Java fern plant roots against that wet superglue and tell it stays there. The gel superglue will dry within a couple of seconds after placing the roots into the glue. You should allow 10 to 15 minutes of drive time for that super glue before placing the whole piece of driftwood back into your aquarium.
