When I was in grade school my mom taught me how to cook perfect steamed rice, when we say “perfect” it should not too sticky. Today, we will cook steamed rice. Ingredients: Water Rice Procedure: Rinse or wash the rice twice. Add water; use your finger to measure. The ratio should be 1:1 for example (in your pot) if the height of the rice is 1/2 inch then your water should have same height. You can add liitle water or you can reduce it, depend s on the type of your rice. Place the pot over a moderate to high heat. When the rice comes to a rolling boil, turns down the heat to the minimum possible, and continues simmering for five more minutes or depends on the size of your cooking pot. Check the rice; Use your spatula to check if the rice is already cooked.
