| Video Discription | The MKb 42(H) Sturmgewehr is a late unlock for the Moscow Axis campaign in Enlisted. This gun is a sniper exclusive weapon, meaning it can only be given to soldiers of the sniper class. The MKb 42(H) is essentially just an StG 44 or MP 43/1 with a 1.5x scope that cannot be taken off. Even though this gun is considered a sniper class weapon, it is best used mid to close range due to dispersion and damage dropoff over distance. You can very easily compete with Allied players running PPSh assault squads, especially if you can engage them over some distance. Giving the MKB 42(H) to your snipers in your sniper squads basically converts that squad into a pseudo-assault squad with more range at the cost of fewer soldiers. A major downside of this weapon is that +35% more vitality is not available for snipers, so your soldiers will be much weaker and will be taken out quickly in combat. Another thing to note is that this gun fires very high as if the scope is not zeroed properly, and shots will land above the scope reticle when firing in full-auto. The gun is very accurate when upgraded, it just takes some time to get used to the odd scope. Overall, the MKb 42(H) is a perfect counter to the Soviet PPSh-41, and is a very interesting and fun weapon to use in Enlisted!
