| Video Discription | I model in the same scale, but in the real world, buildings themselves are built at different scales. In the affluent Victorian years, city buildings were large and grand, but in the 1960s and 1970s, buildings were economical and small. When you see these two scales side-by-side, they can appear jarring. When modelled on a model railway, they can look unusual... wrong, even. In this episode I place two buildings at different extremes of scale, side-by-side, and explore the results. I am scratch-building a run-down Yorkshire town using card and simple materials.
