There are many theories about its origin, none of which have been fully proven. It is not even certain whether Leonardo da Vinci himself painted it or whether it was one of his students. It is very likely that Leonardo da Vinci almost never parted with it and over the years he constantly added various touches such as secret codes and messages for future generations. Leonardo is the author of some of the most famous paintings in the world - "Mona Lisa", "The Last Supper", "The Lady with an Ermine". He was a genius whose inventions were centuries ahead of their time. He drew drawings of tanks, helicopters, diving suits and even a camera - all kinds of strange things for those times that have become a reality these days. Some people believe that if we match Leonardo's paintings, which fit together like a giant jigsaw puzzle, we will be able to unlock the secrets of the universe. But let's start from the beginning - What do we think we know about the life of Leonardo da Vinci? It is believed that Leonardo was the illegitimate child of a nobleman / entrepreneur - Piero and a peasant girl from the town of Vinci, named Catharina. More precisely, Caterina was only 15 years old when she was seduced by the rich Florentine notary Piero. Their relationship was short-lived, and when Leonardo was born, his father married another woman. Leonardo spent his earliest years with his mother, and then, contrary to expectations, the care of the little boy was taken over by his father, Piero, with whom he spent a lot of time in Florence, and then later moved to live there. At that time, Florence was the center of the cultural revival - the Renaissance. A time when the human spirit was awakened and inspired to reach new heights of creativity, knowledge and above all spirituality.
