The Massachusetts State Police (MSP) said they arrested a man seen on dashcam video pushing a trooper into oncoming traffic as he allegedly fled a traffic stop. Video shows the incident unfolding on an Interstate 95 off-ramp in Wakefield on Wednesday, July 5. According to police, an officer approached the suspect on foot “after observing him operating erratically on I-95 and repeatedly ordered him to turn off the bike’s engine and dismount.” As the trooper stood in front of the bike, the suspect fled, pushing the officer into oncoming traffic. Police caught up with the 19-year-old suspect on July 7. He was arrested on a dozen charges, according to MSP.
