| Video Discription | So yes, you ALL know billy? haha so i got him May the 26th... Id been on crutches from a fracted patell (knee!) for a few weeks and the school holidays... i went to a dealer (on crutches) and loked at some lovely irish horses..... i didnt ride them but we were going to get my brother to ride them to see if they were my type of horse..... mum was texting our friends around the same week and told me billy (who i had went to see about a year before but didnt buy him as he over over £1000 over our price range) was possibly for sale again... so i got bored of nagging and eventually gave up due to the fact i knew id be off crutches soon anyway so then i could go test horseyyyys! (YAY!) but then, one morning, as i lay in bed watching Basil Brush (hell yeah!!!) mum came in, told me i was lazy and then said, ive bought you a pony...... I asked "WHICH ONE???" and she walked out saying, "were going to get him later!!!" but which one was it, billy or "danshanigan clover" (lol) they were both geldings, same hieght, both fab temperments and jumped, only difference was billy had more dressage potenial....... :) that day we went to get him from our friends house...... i got out the car, handed a wod of cash over and went up to him... he was even more stunning than i had remembered!!!!! that day, i went out for a hack with my mum, she rode him first and i rode chloe, she wanted to make sure he passed her tests! lol... then, we swapped half way ad we cantered up the best galloping path ever! then, i jumped a hedge...... The next day, we went back to the hospital to get my knee checked and oops, he says NO RIDING!!!!! for 2 weeks! Oops, naughty me! lol but that didnt stop me, i got straight on and just had fun at the begining, then the first time i ever took him hunting, i was shitting myself!!!! So my borther works for the hunt, im well known and im expected to help out and open gates for "the elders and betters!" so i did my first gate on him, he stood like an absoloute rock when i asked him to and turned in a speed demon when i asked him to! He was perfect!!!! Now, were getting into dressage and showjumping, we start our first eventing season this summer.... wish us luck!!! xx hKL2Kkh8_9o |
