I do live in New York right now and I got yelled at on my flight here because I was wearing headphones when we were landing. I got poked in the side, she goes Sir, FAA regulations you cannot wear headphones. I go, why not? She goes, well you can't wear headphones because if the plane flips upside down - - Look, let me stop you there, okay? You're telling me this could flip upside down and you're worried about what's on my head? This is gonna flip over and she's laying on the ceiling like, "I told you to get those headphones off!" She told me the reason was if the plane flips upside down and I'm wearing headphones, I could hang myself and I was like, good. Nothing's ever happened, right? That's why I really respect pilots. I want pilots to be paid more money. They make money but not enough for how important that job is. Every time a pilot lands the plane, they've saved our life! Every time. We could have died but the pilots like 'got it' and we didn't explode. And you know they don't make enough money because when they land the plane, they come out of the cockpit and look at us. They open the door for some kind of gratification. Swing it open like, "How'd I do?" You're alive, right? We don't salute them, we don't shake their hands we don't give them a dollar we just go, "I gotta get my bag, man, get out of my way right now. My shirts have been alone for hours." I never want to think about a pilot up in the cockpit worrying about money, you know? Talking to their family, "I don't know if we could pay the mortgage this month. I know I got to get to Calgary," and slam the phone and take off angry. I want somebody up there that's "Who cares? Buy him another Xbox, yeah," excited. I want pilots to be paid like rappers, just too much money. Millions of dollars. When they do open the cockpit I want to see chains and watches and big rings, money flying out of their pocket. I want to see two naked women in the cockpit, just pouring Hennessy on their chest. I want a full party up there |
