In June 2002, Rush returned to the stage in triumphant fashion in Hartford Connecticut, their first live show back in 5 years. It was an amazing and emotional night, with the concert being filmed as well. Unfortunately no full concert recording would ever materialize and only snippets would emerge over the following years. Until recently. After a lot of waiting I received this uncirculated concert footage of that historical night from a fellow trader. I quickly sent it to my good friend StickHits and together we have painstakingly restored much of the footage to a watchable state. Without him this restoration would not have been possible. The footage was pretty severely deteriorated, with some severe file corruption which made several segments unsalvageable. But we were able to save most of the footage. The recording features the majority of the concert, which has not been seen by the general public in over 17 years. I suspect this footage was hoarded away all this time. We have several more songs nearing completion as this is an ongoing project. We’re very excited to finally unearth this show the way it was meant to be seen. isRIoy-jD5o |
