All New 2025 Hyundai Santa Cruz: Review - Price - Interior And Exterior Redesign
Hyundai has given the Santa Cruz pickup truck a more rugged look with a slight cosmetic upgrade for 2025, even though it's already in its fourth year of production. While the all-terrain XRT grade level takes design inspiration from the 2025 Tucson SUV, the rest of the Tucson lineup follows suit. Its unique 18-inch wheels with thicker tires, tow-hooks on the front end, and updated daytime running lights give it an off-road vibe. The Santa Cruz's available dual-screen infotainment system has been enhanced by Hyundai using their most recent technology. A single panel with two 12.3-inch screens and an improved software interface with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto have supplanted the separate infotainment and gauge displays used in the higher-level 2024 Santa Cruz variants. Built with USB-C ports, a fingerprint reader for extra security, and Hyundai Pay, the in-car payment system of the company, the new system may be updated wirelessly.
Pricing for the 2025 Hyundai Santa Cruz is expected to fall somewhere between $29,000 and $43,000, with the precise cost depending on the model level and optional options.
We think the XRT trim level is the way to go. Acceleration fans must have this model, despite its higher MSRP compared to the SE and SEL, because of its more powerful turbocharged engine. Instead of being an expensive option on the SEL, all-wheel drive is standard on the XRT, and the tow rating is increased to 5,000 pounds due to the stronger engine. Pieces of machinery with a gritty finish and accents of dark chrome complete the look.
One of two available powertrains can be specified by the Santa Cruz trim level. Equipped with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 191 horsepower and 181 pound-feet of torque, the SE and SEL trim levels come standard with an eight-speed automated transmission. Although we found that the Santa Cruz's acceleration was slow in testing, we should mention that its engine is shared with the Hyundai Tucson SUV. The Night, XRT, and Limited variants come standard with turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engines that provide 281 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque. These figures are much better suited for driving in urban areas. A dual-clutch transmission with eight speeds is mated to the engine.
