| Video Discription | Odisha Famous Chakuli pitha || Easily Made It is an authentic and traditional food item eaten as a snack and as meal which is very popular and loved in Odisha. It goes well with any kind of sabji, dalma , coconut chutney, mutton curry and chicken curry. Ingredients to make the batter are : Urad dal : 200 gm Rice : 400 gm Salt to taste Water Procedure: 1. Soak rice and urad dal for about 5-6 hours and then grind them using water to make the batter. 2. Keep the batter without adding salt in room temperature to allow the batter to ferment. Fermentation is the process in which the batter will gain proper aeration and air bubbles will be developed in it making the batter soft. 3. Now add salt to the batter and use it to make chakuli pithha on garam tawa by rubbing oil on the tawa surface prior to pouring the batter.
