Pithi is one of those celebrated recipe of UP which is loved by almost every north Indian residents. So come let’s check out a pithi recipe with a twist and make some yummy paratha with pithi. Join me and relish this awesome recipe. #MoongDalParatha #IndianStreetFood #ChefAjayChopra Ingredients: 1 cup soaked and boiled Moong Daal 1 tbsp Ghee 1 tsp Cumin Seeds 1 tsp Hing / Asafoetida 2 tsp chopped Ginger 2 tsp chopped Green Chilly 1 tsp Coriander Powder 1 tsp Cumin Powder 1/2tsp Turmeric Powder 1 tsp Red Chili Powder 1/2tsp Garam Masala Powder 2 tbsp chopped Coriander Leaves Salt to taste 1 tbsp Dried Mango Powder Atta Dough To garnish: Curd Green Chutney Green Chillies Method: First soak the moong daal and then boil it till its soft. Now take a pan, add ghee and then put all the masalas one by one and mix everything together. Once the stuffing is fried and combined together mash everything with the help of a masher. Your stuffing is ready. Now take a small portion of the atta dough. Make it round and flat in shape from the edges keeping the middle portion thick. Put a generous amount of the stuffing in the middle section of the flat dough and then wrap it from the edges so that all the stuffing should be inside the dough of the paratha. Now make a nice ball shape and sprinkle some flour dust on it and then roll out the dough into a nice flat bread just like roti or Indian bread. Repeat the same. Take a tawa and put it on the flame. Let it hot for some time. Then add the flat bread onto the tawa. Once it is cooked from one side flip it to another side. Put some ghee on the cooked side and then repeat this again on the other side. Your pithiwale parathe is ready. Serve Hot along with curd, green chutney and red chillies.
