We constantly run out of power, and we wish we could show you what that looks like, but it's just dark! Think about all of the things you use electricity for every day. Pretty tough to go without, right?! Well it's something we've learned not to take for granted, because it's been so hard to come by... UNTIL NOW! We're installing a 48 volt electrical system with over 10,000 watts of solar power and 28 kWh of battery storage to harvest the sun's energy! This has been our most complex project to date. While this isn't our first time dabbling in electricity (if you recall the first three letters of our channel, we built our van--including all the electric--ourselves from top to bottom), but it is one of our most ambitious! After a lot of hard work, mistakes, sweat and tears, it all comes down to the moment of truth: will our power work?! The answer, all comes down to a flick of the switch!
