| Video Discription | I had a bunch of perfectly good dial up modems lying around, so I decided to do something with them. I've seen videos of other people getting ridiculously old computers onto the internet, but none that used a period accurate modem. So here you go. The old computers connect through another computer set up as a "dial in server" The idea is that when you're away you can call up this server and connect like you were on your home network, kind of like VPN but over phone lines. The part I'm interested in is that it can share the internet connection. This is supposed to be done over a telephone exchange, but I don't have a landline.
