| Video Discription | Singapore Airlines Trip Report flying from Singapore to Delhi in one of the Singapore Airlines Airbus A380 on a lovely morning over Southern Asia. My first flight on the Singapore Airlines A380 economy class I must say it was amazing. Flying the A380 is always a remarkable experience. If we add to that the Singapore Cabin, we get an amazing flight. The flight was fully booked but we were lucky enough to get a free middle seat, so the flight was even better thanks to this. Today we start our journey at The Jewel of Singapore Changi Airport. A proper mall connected directly to the terminals 1-2-3. There we have one of the lost iconic things of Singapore: the rainforest garden with its famous waterfall from the ceiling. When the hour came, we made our way to the terminal itself. Singapore Airport is known for having been awarded as Best Airport in the World for several years. Well, I must say it's very well deserved. It's a lovely place where time flies and everyone would enjoy staying. Full of gardens, fountains, sculptures, colorful shops, and soft carpets, it's the definition of the perfect airport. There is just 1 thing at that Changi airport is bad, extremely bad, and that's the ability to see planes: it's almost impossible by its structure. We boarded our A380 on time and departed just a few minutes after the scheduled time. After a powerful takeoff, we overflew the Singapore Strait, just before making a 90° turn to the left and starting our route to Delhi. I personally loved the views of the hundreds of ships waiting to enter the Port of Singapore, one of the most important ones in the World. During our flight, we overflew Malaysia and quickly entered the Strait of Malacca, just after flying over Kuala Lumpur. We then flew over the Bay of Bengal until eventually reaching the Indian east coast, close to the city of Bhubaneshwar. From there we flew in almost direct course to Delhi, where we landed on time after a beautiful night approach over the city. Especial mention to the huge squall line (line of storms) that we found over the Bay of Bengal and the east Indian coast. We saw them already in the night and the amount of lightning strikes was really amazing to see. About the onboard service, just after takeoff a drink with some peanuts was served; a service that was almost immediately followed by the dinner service. There were 3 options for the warm part of the main service on today's flight: pasta with meatballs, rice with curry, and fish. If there is one part of Singapore Airlines that I'm not a big fan of that's the catering. The quantity is great... but it doesn't look very elaborated and the flavors are nothing special.
