It's clear that in at least a couple of the places, the Sherwin Williams paint went on thinner or painted thinner. The Behr paint seemed to coat better but neither paint covered 100% on the first coat. But in our experience, the Behr Marquee paint did a better job in coverage so that only touch-ups would be required rather than adding an entire second coat of paint to the room. You can take our word for which paint performed better. Or you can do the same test yourself. We think you will find that the Behr paint was the better paint. Even though Behr Marquee paint cost $5 more than the Sherwin Williams Showcase HGTV paint, it seemed to us that you would use far less of it which would save you money in the long run.
