| Video Discription | Last month we attended the Rockland Pinball Company's Open House Party! Rockland Pinball buys, sells and vends pinball machines and they where nice enough to open their doors for an all day BBQ and tons of great machines all on freeplay! Some of the games where from the owner's personal collection like the Limited Edition version of Stern's Star Trek and a VERY nice Addams Family. Two things to note in the video. The Cactus Canyon Continued is not the same machine I played at the Allentown Pennsylvania Pinfest, it's another machine. And for those wondering what is up with the High Speed machine that has Dragnet and Robocop on it...well that's another story. That game was an export from Italy called, La Retata or The Raid. Williams made 100 conversion kits of High Speed with new playfield artwork and even new backglass. Sadly the backglass on this broke and they replaced it with an original High Speed one, but the playfield looks great. For some reason Dragnet was a very popular movie in Italy at the time as was Robocop, so they put them both together to try to move some extra units for the Italian market. KvaLOOMxEiA |
