The delegation shared ideas with each of the parties, and expressed a desire for greater exchanges in the future. Commenting on the visit, DPP lawmaker Mark Ho said that Taiwan’s government must have exchanges with Japan’s opposition parties, as well as its ruling party. He said that democracy and regional security are of shared concern among all political parties. A delegation from the Constitutional Democratic Party of Japan, the largest opposition party in Tokyo, visited the headquarters of the Democratic Progressive Party on Monday.
