| Video Discription | Jerome Fayette, MD, Centre Lèon Bèrard, Lyon, France, shares insight into the results of a Phase II trial (NCT03526835), including patients with PD-L1-positive recurrent/metastatic head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) treated periodically with petosemtamab plus pembrolizumab. The study showed a high response rate at the primary endpoint, with notable partial responses. Efficacy was similar in both human papillomavirus-negative (HPV-) and -positive (HPV+) populations and between low and high expressors of PD-L1 with a CPS scoring of 1-19 (CPS 1-19). Although some patients experienced grades 1-3 toxicity, these side effects were manageable with pre-medication and adjusting the administration rate.
