| Video Discription | Previously I archived Persona 4 and today we finally archive the massive RPG known as Persona 5. My first experience with a Persona game was the fourth installment and therefore that particular game will always have a special place in my heart, but I have to admit that Persona 5 is a better game in almost every aspect. We play as a student who gets into trouble with the law and gets relocated to Tokyo. There we will have to attend school as any student would, but we quickly get caught up in a mystery where we get recruited into a group known as the Phantom Thieves. The Phantom Thieves have the power to change people's hearts and through that we hope to bring more justice to this world. Of course its never that easy and soon we find ourselves stuck in a sinister plot that takes plenty of unexpected twists and turns. Ever since Persona 3 the series has been known for combining Dungeon Crawling gameplay with a Social Simulator where you go out with friends or love interests. The issue with the previous installments is that most of the dungeon gameplay was very repetitive. They completely fixed this with Persona 5 as each dungeon is so drastically different from each other; both in looks and also gameplay. In one dungeon you explore an ancient castle while in other dungeons you are exploring a massive museum while trying to avoid laser traps. In the time not spent in the dungeons you get to explore Tokyo which was an absolute blast as I have lived in Tokyo for 8 years of my life and you actually get to walk around in some places that are very close to where I lived. My home was near Kichijoji and you can actually go there in this game as well as Inokashira Park and it was wonderful to see how it was recreated in this game. There were more places to explore during your free time than any other Persona game before and the colorful cast of characters and storylines made it all worthwile. The voice acitng is superb and the overal vibe a perfect blend between serious and humorous. It probably has the longest main quest in any game that I ever played and I am still in awe of the accomplishment that is Persona 5.
