| Video Discription | An improvisation in the intense ancient Greek Dorian Mode, on the awesomely authentically recreated replica ancient Greek Phorminx - an archaic form of Kithara, hand-made in modern Greece by Luthieros: http://en.luthieros.com/product/phorminx-advanced-lyre-like-7-or-9-strings-top-quality-handcrafted-musical-instrument The ancient Greek Phorminx was an archaic form of the even more advanced Kithara - like the ancient Greek Kithara, the Phorminx also featured articulated arms - when the player exerted lateral movement to either of the arms of this lyre, a unique vocal vibrato effect was produced. This vibrato mechanism was refined even further on the Kithara, which had a system of springs beneath the yoke for even more vibrato control.
