| Video Discription | The Minecraft Survival Guide Season 3 continues in Minecraft 1.20.2! This tutorial will show you how to start a Pillager Raid in Minecraft, and how to defeat the waves of Pillagers, Vindicators, Witches, Evokers and Ravagers! First, we need to find a pillager outpost - which spawns pillager patrol captains, so you don't have to wait for a pillager patrol to spawn. Then, selecting a nearby village, we walk in with the Bad Omen effect to begin the raid! We discuss how raids are affected by difficulty, and the different mobs that appear in each raid - Pillagers, Vindicators, and Evokers. These last two 'Illagers' also appear in Woodland Mansions, but this time they've brought backup in the form of Witches and Ravagers! We also get our first look at the Vex, flying creatures which can be summoned by Evokers. Upon defeating the raid, we get the Hero of the Village effect - which grants us additional discounts and even free items from villagers. We snag a Totem of Undying from an Evoker, with a quick explanation of how it can save you from death, then return home to see how Hero of the Village stacks with the permanent zombie curing discount now that Mojang has rebalanced villager discounts!
