| Video Discription | Piri Piri is a Portuguese hot sauce which hits exactly the right notes because of its deep flavor. INGREDIENTS: - 3 pcs grilled pepper (canned) - 5 long red chilis - 2 cloves garlic - 1/4 cup of vinegar - 1/2 tbsp salt - 1/2 tbsp brown sugar - 1/2 tbsp ground black pepper - 1/2 cup of olive oil - 1 bay leaf INSTRUCTIONS: Chop the peppers, red chilis and onion coarsely Put chili, onions, pepper and 2 cloves garlic into the frying pan, add 1-2 tbsp olives oil and turn the heat to medium. Cook for 5 to 10 minutes - turning occasionally. Then put the ingredients into a blender and purée for 30 seconds. Add 1/4 cup of vinegar, 1/2 tbsp salt, 1 tbsp brown sugar, 1/2 ground black pepper and 1/2 cup of olive oil and blend again. It only takes 60 seconds or until it’s smooth enough. Add 1 bay leaf, lightly stirring and give it a try to see if it’s good enough. Pour the Piri Piri Sauce in a glass container and give a rest until it completely cooled down. K45zRzoBw5k |
