M.) erstreckt sich am Felskamm zwischen Piz Glüschaint und Dschimels (it. Gemelli) an der Grenze zu Italien. Die Gletscherzunge reicht bis an den Lej da Vadret (Gletschersee). Hier liegt auf 2'160 m ü. M. der höchste Punkt des Val Roseg. The Roseg Glacier (Romansh: Vadret da Roseg) is a glacier at the northern slope of the Bernina Range in the canton of Graubünden. It is over 4 km long and in its accumulation zone, together with its tribu-tary glacier Vadret da la Sella (Sella Glacier), up to 4 km wide. The firn area of the Roseg Glacier lies at an altitude of 3,500 m above sea level on the crest between the Piz Glüschaint and the Dschimels (Ital-ian: I Gemelli) at the border to Italy. The glacier tongue extends to the Lej da Vadret (glacial lake) at an altitude of 2,160 m above sea level, which is the highest point of the Val Roseg valley. Dk8LUtIn28g |
