Stressing on the importance of PM Modi’s visit, Australian High Commissioner to India Barry O’Farrell on May 08 in Delhi said that his visit will further strengthen the relationship between both countries. Hailing India’s G20 Presidency, O’Farrell credited India’s ‘need to deliver equitable and sustainable growth’ as the reason behind Australia’s immense support towards the country. O’Farrell also reiterated Australian PM’s assurance to take action against increasing vandalism incidents. “Australia supports Indian G20 presidency because India understands the need to deliver equitable and sustainable growth. Indian and Australian relations are at an enormous high. Migration between countries is one of the fastest-growing ones. PM’s visit will further strengthen the relationship between Australia and India and will lead to increased people-to-people relations,” O’Farrell said.
