They explain the typical ways that surface water is treated and delivered to customers. These videos were produced to assist leaders, board members and other decision-makers of drinking water utilities in small, rural communities in understanding what is involved and what it takes in terms of resources and expertise to produce drinking water for a community from the time it is taken from a source to the time it is delivered to customers. These leaders can then make more informed decisions about the operations, maintenance, and expansion of their drinking water infrastructure.
