12:11 Overall Thoughts on Tiana's Bayou Adventure
Tianaโs Foods, part of the Bayou Adventure, is housed in a transformed former salt mining facility. Golden Oak Outpost should really be expanded and re-themed to match. As guests queue for the ride, they pass by Tianaโs Test Kitchen, complete with the aroma of powder-sugar-dusted beignets to enhance the New Orleans ambiance. When you get off this Magic Kingdom ride, head over to Golden Oak Outpost to eat some of the things you saw on the ride. The dishes are based on real New Orleans recipes. Before the grand opening, Cast Members, Annual Passholders, DVC Members, and D23 Gold Members had the opportunity to preview the food offerings, making it a coveted experience. We tried for the Annual Passholder and D23 previews, like we did with Guardians of the Galaxy. We missed D23 and got 3 reservations for the passholder preview. We also took 3 vacation days from work to attempt to ride the ride.
