The most wonderful part of the song comes at the ending choruses, where her inner self sings out, 'I love you, for taking me on.' Liz has faith that her anguished youthful self can and will figure it all out. It's a true tearjerker of a song and one of the most beautiful songs of self redemption and healing ever written.
