I learned this Odia recipe of chakuli from my mother in law, who has amazing culinary skills. This recipe is quite forgiving and will give you excellent results whether you add less water or more. The more the water, the easier to spread. Chakuli can be prepared within 2 hours of batter preparation. You can keep the batter without adding salt in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
