| Video Discription | Imagine putting on a pair of glasses which have the ability to scan faces and identify anyone who has ever been tagged in a public social media post, or anyone who has ever had anything posted about them online. Sound like the future? We know how that story plays out.. Now, imagine that same scenario, walking down the street and seeing peoples faces scanned and their information pop up in front of you, but it's also connected to a Police or Federal Law Enforcement database. A Police officer, agent, or other Law Enforcement personnel simply walking past somebody and get all the info. they need. Is that person currently on any bail or release conditions? A curfew? Are they abiding by those conditions? Are there any warrants out for them? There's hundreds of companies designing smart glasses and every one of them want to come up with some unique feature which puts them ahead of the others. There's hundreds of start-ups designing smart glasses with dreams to take on the tech giants, but there's also plenty of start-ups whose sole purpose is to create a product, patent it, and sell that patent with a big price tag. But it's not just other tech companies that pay attention and purchase patents, it's also the military. I personally have mixed feelings about it. I want, and expect, those in charge of safety to have all tools available to them in order to keep people safe. Oddly enough, I also don't want to live in a Police state. I've also stated in the past that just because one person doesn't have a problem with it or anything to hide, doesn't mean that everyone else's privacy should be out the window. I'd love to hear your thoughts which usually leads to new content. I have some interviews coming up with industry leaders and visionaries who will be able to dive a little deeper into some of these issues.
