I've been wanting a G-Shock for years so I told myself why not get a GG-1000-1A5 on eBay since the seller looks legit and he sold only 2 for a fairly cheap price (scammers I've heard of sells multiple variants in large quantities), and it's eBay moneyback warrantied so I can't lose anything but a little bit of my time While waiting for it to arrive, I bought a GG-1035-1ACR from a local authorized dealer. Weeks went by and no tracking update so he refunded the money. Finally, it arrived, and from the look of the box I knew right away that it's a fake, and it's even the 1A3, not the 1A5 I wanted. Anyway, this is a pretty sophisticated fake, without close examining in person and testing of features one can't tell the different. Reported the seller for selling fake watches and now he's not with us anymore, so I have a fake G-Shock to play with. |
