A woman has claimed that she is Cherrie Mahan, a Butler County, Pennsylvania girl who went missing when she was eight in 1985. The unnamed woman posted about being the missing girl, who would currently be 47, in the Facebook group, 'Memories of Cherrie Mahan,' on May 23. State police are currently investigating her claim as the girl's mother, Janice McKinney, isn't convinced that the woman is her long-lost daughter.

Shawn McBreairty, 53, made a name for himself in 2021 after he appeared on Tucker Carlson 's now-defunct Fox News show and claimed he would not be allowed at his twins' daughters graduation over his opposition to the district's teachings on race. McBreairty, who called himself 'America's Most Dangerous Dad,' had been banned from the properties of Cumberland's Maine School Administrative District 51 after he padlocked a billboard to a school fence demanding superintendent Jeff Porter be fired. Friends of the activist and his wife Patti have been posting their condolences on social media, with several local news outlets reporting that McBreairty died on Monday.

Multiple law enforcement sources told CNN that the 60-year-old will face murder charges relating to the deaths of Jessica Taylor and Valerie Mack on Thursday. The headless and handless body of Taylor, 20, was discovered in the woods of Manorville, New York, in 2000. Joseph Leedy, 40, stands accused of four counts of aggravated assault on an officer and one count of criminal mischief resulting in damage of more than $1,000 as a result - as a series of photos show the damage he caused. Surveillance footage show the suspect driving from the Martin County Jail parking lot, up the walkway, and through it glass lobby doors. He was stopped by a set of steel security doors further inside. No one was in the lobby in the crash, and Leedy was taken into custody - after exiting the car wearing a blouse and no pants to pour motor oil on the jail floor, saying he wanted to set it on fired. Expressing a desire to 'kill everyone', he also threw rubber snakes on the facility's floor, and fought with deputies and responding fire rescue personnel, officers said. The crash, which cops said will prove costly, is currently under investigation.

Charles Barrett, 40, was sentenced to life in prison on Tuesday after being found guilty by a federal jury of two counts of aggravated sexual assault and one count of abusive sexual contact. German police have discovered an email account linking Christian Brueckner to the disappearance of Madeleine McCann, investigators have claimed. Titus Stampa, a senior detective, told a court in Germany that investigators had found emails on a Hotmail account used by Brueckner that linked him directly to the case. The shock revelation is the first time an investigating official has alluded to evidence directly connecting Brueckner to the three-year-old's disappearance from a holiday apartment in Praia da Luz, Portugal in 2007.

Air Force Captain Matthew Wallace posted a video of himself driving a Tesla Cybertruck with his pinky down a Las Vegas street. After completing a turn, Wallace put both hands back on the wheel and accelerated with the speedometer showing he reached approximately 83 mph within 10 seconds. 'Cybertruck makes a U Turn using only my pinky. Check mate,' Wallace said.

This is the terrifying moment a circus bear attacked its trainer in front of screaming children after he forcefully made the animal perform. The roller-skating bear, a female called Dzhema, was being forced to perform tricks at the ironically named 'Happiness Show' at Mash Circus, Obnisk, Russia , on June 1. Shocking footage captured by an audience member shows the trainer Oleg Krasov forcing Dzhema to sit in a chair with a pair of rollerskates tied to her rear paws. Under the flourescent lights, the bear can be seen slouched in the seat as hundreds of faces around the venue peer out to watch the sick act unfold. Suddenly, Krasov grabs the animal's fur with two hands and pulls her up out of the chair, forcing her to stand on her hind legs.
