The handicap conversion is designed to be reliable & economical using a more simplified design approach and fewer moving parts. This conversion features a 29-inch fold-out ramp with an 800 lbs. capacity and a 53.5-inch door opening height. Unlike most other wheelchair van conversions, this vehicle has no kneeling system. (A kneeling system is used to lower the van's height during ramp deployment to reduce ramp angle, making it easier for a wheelchair user to enter and exit). Because this vehicle does not utilize a kneeling system, the ramp angle is 12 degrees, possibly making it a little more difficult for someone using a manual wheelchair to navigate the ramp's incline on their own accord.
