With WWF Raw is War and WCW Monday Nitro going head to head on Monday nights, fans had to make a decision on which show to watch. Reliving The War aims to look at every WWF vs WCW battle from the mid 90s to early 2000s. The WWF are days away from WrestleMania 13 and a steel cage match on Raw between Sycho Sid and Bret Hart could change the main event of Mania. If Bret Hart wins the cage match, he becomes WWF Champion and Steve Austin gets a shot at the belt at WrestleMania. If Sycho Sid retains, his scheduled main event match with The Undertaker goes ahead as planned. With Steve Austin and The Undertaker also having an interest in who wins the cage match, you can expect both men to get involved in the Raw main event. Bret Hart snaps at Vince McMahon during this episode of Raw, this is the episode with the infamous "frustrated isn't the word for it" promo. WCW just wrapped up their Uncensored 1997 pay per view. The nWo may have won the battle at the pay per view, but the war continues with Sting making it crystal clear that he's fighting for WCW.
