| Video Discription | Along with some of the other sights that can be seen during the "Best of the West 2018" at Santa Margarita Ranch, we primarily focus on the Pacific Coast Railroad that goes around numerous parts of the ranch, We have been wanting to come up here for years and we now finally got that chance and it sure was a very fun one. In this video, we'll be showing the Pacific Coast RR 2-6-2 Prairie type #3 lead two of the four Santa Fe & Disneyland Railroad Retlaw 1 coaches 104 "Land of the Pueblos" and recently refurbished 105 "Painted Desert" as well as the Plymouth/Smokeless diesel engine pulling a flat car in case if fires are started along the line since a lot of nearby brush. We also show one ride aboard the Pacific Coast RR train around the ranch passing the many sights to see including scaring a pair of donkeys, airplanes and even the roundhouse were the other two SF&DRR coaches 102 and 103 are stored, the other two Pacific Coast RR Steam locomotives, a caboose, another coach of other origin, and various freight cars plus a private owned engine... Only finding out about this the day before, it turns out Fred Gurley #3 from the Disneyland Railroad's sister engine 14064, the Elias, was actually out here as well as just about ready to run that is shown in the next part. Also from the ranch if you take the time to look, you can also see the UP Coast Sub out in the distance and we managed to catch the UP Milpitas to Texas Autorack and Amtrak's Coast Starlight #14(not till next part).
