Wind down You have to signal to your subconscious mind that it's time to sleep, so you have to wind down. Close all the work you have, and clean up your space. Sleeping in a cluttered environment will only make you more stressed. 2. Read fiction Reading a good fiction book will allow you to switch off your logical mind, and get swept up in your own imagination. If reading fiction isn't really your thing, you can also read biographies of great people. 3. Meditate I recommend meditating atleast once a day, and if you can only do it once I suggest you do it in your morning ritual because that's when you're going to be the most awake. But, if you can, meditating even for 5-10 minutes in the night can dramatically reduce your stress. 4. Recite your affirmations Before going to sleep recite your affirmations out loud, and really feel the energy behind the words when you say them. Don't just say, "I make a million dollars a year"(in a slow voice). Say, "I make a million dollars a year and I'm so excited and happy." 5. Write down your tasks for the next day Now following this tip has actually increase my productivity 10 times. Every night before I go to bed, I decide what I'm going to do the next day. And you have to make sure that what you write on this list is actually meaningful work, not stuff like, "doing the laundry." or "washing the dishes." 9OQpf80Sb3g |
