The TCFD recommendations are becoming essential for insurance companies in developing disclosure reporting plans. U.S. state insurance commissioners continue to encourage insurers to follow the TCFD recommendations to help them reduce climate risks. And a growing number of leading U.S. and foreign insurers are using the TCFD recommendations.
