Castell'Arquato is a fascinating place to explore, full of beauty and amazing views. Chosen as the location for some films (like "Lady Hawk" 1985), it has recently joined "Italy’s most beautiful boroughs" and it has also been awarded the title of "Wine Town". The heart of Castell'Arquato is the Municipal Square, located in the upper part of the village and surrounded by the "Rocca Viscontea", an imposing fortress protecting the borough. Here we'll also find "Santa Maria Assunta" Church, a remarkable romanesque complex with gothic and renaissance elements, and the Podesta Palace.
