Accreditation status through the Commission for Accreditation of Park and Recreation Agencies (CAPRA) is a distinguished honor, recognizing our department’s commitment to upholding industry-leading standards. Initially accredited in 2009, Round Rock PARD was among only 5 agencies in Texas and the 86th in the U.S. to achieve this milestone. Through annual reviews and re-accreditation visits every 5 years, we’ve upheld our status, successfully meeting all 151 compliance standards in our last 2 reviews - a rare accomplishment we are incredibly proud of. Our accreditation status reflects our commitment to providing Round Rock with exceptional parks, trails, facilities, programs, events, and services for everyone to enjoy!!
