| Video Discription | In light of YouTube offerring uploaders the option to license their uploads as Creative commons, I decided to put this presentation together to show you where you may get additional material for use in your videos. This presentation will outline how you can get royalty free high definition photographs (pictures), images and free video footage, both standard definition and high definition, and also non-copyrighted animations, clip art, and CGI (computer generated imagery). Material is available from many sources, but this presentation focusses on obtaining media from flickr.com, as they have a search feature which really allows you to target exactly what you're looking for, in terms of licensing. Information about Creative commons licensing and links to further resuorces are contained in the presentation. Once you know the terms of creative commons licenses and how to follow the original authors requirements as set out in the license for use, then you can select material that you would like to include legally in your own work with confidence. This will ensure that work you have created yourself is not in breach of copyright and won't be removed from youtube because of copyright infringement concerns... this also means that your videos will be suitable for revenue sharing via the youtube partner program (provided the video reaches a certain level of popularity).
