| Video Discription | The script is based on a relatively small fragment of the "Shahnameh", which tells about the fight of the legendary hero Rustam with his own son. Twenty years ago, at the call of duty the great hero of Iran, Rustam abandoned his pregnant wife Tahmina, the daughter of the ruler of Samangan and forbade her to tell to their future son about him until the son himself becomes famous on his military feat. The Shah of Samangan pays tribute to the ruler of Turan, Shah Afrasiab, at whose court Tahmina's matured son Suhrab manages to gain fame as an invincible fighter. Afrasiab knows the secret of Sohrab's origin. Fearing that two great warriors, father and son, will unite against him, Afrasiab appoints Suhrab as the leader of the campaign in Iran, portraying Rustam as the main enemy, whom Suhrab must destroy first. Tahmina reveals his father's name to Suhrab, but Rustam remains unaware that the leader of the enemy army is his son. The Iranian Shah Kavus, fearing the power of Suhrab, returns Rustam from exile and sends him into battle, urging him not to reveal his name. Father and son face off in a deadly duel. Rustam's old enemy, Div Tulad, hiding under the guise of a simple Turanian warrior, gloats over what is happening. He refuses to use his witchcraft, being sure that the heroes he hates will cause irreparable harm to themselves because evil is an inevitable companion of human life.
