It is currently being operated with 22147/22148 train numbers on weekly basis. The 22147/Dadar Central - Sainagar Shirdi SF Express has averages speed of 55 km/hr and covers 332 km in 6h. The 22148/Sainagar Shirdi - Dadar Central SF Express has averages speed of 55 km/hr and covers 332 km in 6h. Both trains are hauled by a Kalyan Loco Shed based WCAM-2 / WCAM-3 electric locomotive from Dadar to Shirdi. The train share its rake with 11001/11002 Sainagar Shirdi - Pandharpur Express and 12131/12132 Dadar Central - Sainagar Shirdi Superfast Express. The train has standard ICF rakes with max speed of 110 kmph. The train consist of 18 coaches : 1 AC II Tier 2 AC III Tier 7 Sleeper Coaches 6 General Unreserved 2 Seating cum Luggage Rake The important halts of the train are: Dadar Central Thane Kalyan Junction Kasara Igatpuri Nasik Road Manmad Junction Kopargaon Sainagar Shirdi Sainagar Shirdi railway station (station code: SNSI) is a railway station in the city of Shirdi, Maharashtra state, India. Sainagar Shirdi is a railway terminus and belongs to Central Railways of Indian Railways. It is located from about 3 km from the Holy Temple of Shri Sai Baba Samadhi. Temple authority I.e Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust runs free buses from station to Temple free of cost. The 17.5 km (11 mi) long Puntamba-Shirdi link, connecting the holy city of Shirdi to the Manmad-Daund branch line was completed in 2009. Work had started in 2003. The new railway station, Sainagar Shirdi is well connected with many direct trains to different places. The Manmad-Puntamba-Sainagar Shirdi is a broad gauge line which was electrified in 2011–12. Before this rail link pilgrims used to reach the town by road after alighting at Kopargaon, Nagarsol, Manmad and Nashik Road railway stations. The station has two waiting halls one for Upper Class and one for General Class ticket holders. The waiting halls are very small and difficult to handle large number of passengers. Station doesn't have cloak rooms and any kind of book stalls. The railway track ends at Shirdi Railway Station and no train leaves further which makes difficult to catch other trains if one misses the train. IRCTC food canteen is present in the first platform of the station. This provides both in house sitting and parcel services. Snacks are sold by other vendors. Dadar railway station is one of the major interchange railway stations of Mumbai Suburban Railway. It serves the Dadar area in Mumbai, India. This railway station lies on both the Central line named as Dadar Central with station code DR and Western line named as Dadar Western with station code DDR. It's also a terminal for Mumbai Suburban Railway as well as Indian Railways. Dadar railway station has 15 platforms, In that, 7 platforms consist of the Western side which is two platforms of the slow suburban route, three platforms of the fast suburban route and the last two platforms are the terminus of the Suburban and Long Distance trains which are also known as Dadar Midtown Terminus. The remaining 8 platforms consist of the Central line, which is of three platforms on the slow suburban route with middle-slow suburban terminal, three platforms are on the fast suburban route with middle-fast suburban terminal, and the last two platforms are the terminus of long-distance trains which is also known as Dadar Central Terminus or Dadar Terminus. Dadar is the busiest railway station on the Mumbai Suburban Railway network. Dadar railway station handles a total of 88 long-distance trains. In which 12 trains are on the Western line side in which 3 long-distance trains originate and terminate at Midtown Terminus and 9 long-distance trains halt at the fast suburban route of Western line. Whereas, 76 trains are on the Central line side in which 11 long-distance trains originate and terminate at Central Terminus and 65 long-distance trains halt at the fast suburban route of Central line. Dadar railway station was inaugurated in the year 1868. |
