| Video Discription | The Rainbow trout are still active here in the Salt River! Fishing for these stocked trout has been hit or miss for me lately, but we are still managing some nice ones! The bite has been very finicky, for this reason most of the fish have been biting on powerbait. The first day trout fishing the salt river we managed 3 fish (1 off camera) and saw some pretty cool footage on the underwater fishing camera. I put the underwater camera down there any chance I can to see what the fish are doing! The salt river trout fishing is always a mystery, so it was nice to see underwater! The next day we got a very special trout, that being a palomino or golden rainbow trout. I am not sure which ones they stock here. I did not know they had golden rainbow trout in the salt river either! Never know what your going to get when Arizona trout fishing! He was 19 inches long and very thick. The garlic powerbait got that fish. All in all a great few days of fishing and some great underwater trout footage. The gofishcam was responsible for the amazing footage we got! It is linked below.
