With the growth of social media and social media influencers we take the information as it is provided by them. But we try to understand the situation and decode it. - He might be making a minimum of 30-35LPA. - He might have gained an experience of working at the top consulting firm. - He was 100% in the top 1% of 25 years old of India. Still committed suicide? There are thousand others who are working in the same work culture, same pressure and same salaries. Let’s see what other options he would have got within one month of leaving a 35LPA job: - Started a startup with his batchmates. Seed rounds are easy with IIT IIM degrees. - Got a job of at-least the same salary with a startup in Bangalore, Gurgaon, Hyderabad or Noida. - He could have joined an education startup and taught students. He had experience of IIT, IIM, Competitive exams, Personality development and Cracking high ticket size interviews. Still you choose to jump from the 9th floor? Happiness is not bound to degrees, money, company or fame. It’s bound to your inner peace which can be 100% in a INR 10,000 salaried employee and 0% in a 25 years old with 2.5L crediting into his account every month. Do anything but keep your mental health in your control. It’s high time. And please don’t get influenced by one incident and thousand people writing about it.
