| Video Discription | hopefully paramount doesn't smite me for this but GOD this new intro is great (although i do have a nitpick about it) intro analysis [edited this in as of the 10th of feb AEST]: of course theres the new music with the beginning using quite literally the vocal rendition of the halo theme seen in halo 2 (albeit with some timings sped up or removed altogether in the middle section of it), then a more orchestral rendition of the halo vocal melody before returning back to just vocals at the end. visually (also where my nitpicks are), most of it uses the exact same visuals as the old intro (which in my opinion doesn't mix too well with the music, i kinda wish they redid the timings for the whole intro in general to make it mix better) but at the end spins off into it's own visuals as we zoom into the sealing hole in john/chief's helmet, leading us in space to a glimpse of the halo ring before fading to the halo logo i generally love the new audio design and ending visuals of the intro but i wish the rest of the intro's visuals got a redo as well bleeh.. great job to bear mccreary (the new season 2 composer) for putting together such a nice theme though !! legal disclaimer, all footage here does NOT belong to me, it belongs to showtime / paramount!!
