Of course, it does give us some sense of safety to think we know things, what's going to happen, or what someone else is doing, thinking, or feeing. But whatever we think we "know" isn't even guaranteed to be the truth/the full truth. And things are ALWAYS changing and in flux. It is only a temporary sense of safety that appeases our thinking minds/egos. The part of ourselves that judges and labels everything. And feels secure in having things "figured out". But if we can let go of this need and fully embrace not having the answers, we step into a very powerful and peaceful mode of being in which you are "in line" with life and the way things are. And with this alignment comes a sense of security and safety much deeper than anything "knowledge" could provide. It's as though you are on the "same team" as life and with that comes a deep inner knowing that things are going to be just fine.
