The forum format was that speakers would speak for ten minutes each followed by question & answer. The atmosphere was filled with anticipation as the first speaker Ms. Tulika Sharma spoke on ‘swearing & Media’ followed by Dr. Shaleen Sharma who addressed the audience on ‘swearing and gender’, Participants then heard Dr. Neeti Pandey who shed light on ‘Swearing & Law’. Finally, Mr. Alok Benjamin spoke on ‘swearing and Psychology’. The young crowd asked various questions from moral relativism to tradition etc. Participants included Deputy Commissioner, Nagar Nigam, Gwalior Mr. Shishir Shrivastav, Nagar Nigam, Students, working professionals, etc. Prof. Sandeep Joy presented a vote of thanks. Mr. Rishi Nath and Sanjay Singh presented mementos. All the volunteers did an excellent job in making this open forum a success. -QPEt7X-p10 |
