| Video Discription | The Shanghai Museum is set to unveil an exhibition titled "On Top of the Pyramid: The Civilization of Ancient Egypt" on July 18. The exhibition will feature 788 precious cultural relics from different periods of ancient Egypt, which arrived in Shanghai on Sunday night. On Monday afternoon, under the supervision of customs and cultural relics departments, two star exhibits were unboxed. One of the highlights are a massive limestone sculpture of Akhenaten from the National Museum of Egypt. Another highlight is a painted human-shaped coffin from Saqqara, exhibited outside Egypt for the first time. 95% of the relics are being exhibited in Asia for the first time. To ensure the safe transport of these treasures, a six-person team from the Shanghai Museum spent three weeks in Egypt, meticulously packing the relics into 91 crates. Also for the first time, the museum chartered a direct flight from Cairo to Shanghai to transport the relics.
