Praying for you all as the hurricane comes through. Be safe out there! Today I want to talk about planaria and hydra. These two are parasites that are bad to have in shrimp tanks. Planaria are vicious flatworms that are detrimental to the health of any shrimp colony. Hydra are from the jelly fish family and can really stunt the growth of a shrimp colony due to their ability to kill small shrimplets. It’s important to know how to identify both planaria and hydra. So, I’ve included two link for you all to look at too easily know what they look like and even know a little more about them.
