| Video Discription | In this video guide see how to acquire the ebony blade the legit way through the daedric quest The whispering door and a way to get it early without doing the quest. Usually level 20 has be reached and then you speak with hulda at the bannered mare about rumors. From there talking to Jarl Balgruuf begins the quest to get the key to the old wooden door in the basement that unlocks a seldom seen room containing a table with the blade. If a platter is brought down to the storeroom it is possible to do a wall breach to the left of the door above the shelves. This can be done as early as level 1 and it gets you in the room to grab the blade. (Be sure to bring an extra platter to escape the room.) However getting it early like this only allows the blade to be used as is. Early on it is a high level blade that swings with speed of a one handed sword but it cannot be fully charged with the blood of deceit...until level 20 at least. Once at that level talk to hulda at the bannered mare and go through the quest as usual but once the key is stolen and the room is accessed it will be as empty as you left it with the journal entry to retrieve the blade stuck. At that point simply equip the blade and activate a weapon rack. Once placed on a rack just take it back and that completes the quest. NOTE: If Hulda dies and is replaced by Ysolda as innkeeper the quest cannot be started and the blade can never be charged. Ejwx8fOKPlw |
